The Frances Levine Studio seeks design solutions that, in imitation of nature itself, are cyclical rather than linear. We believe that landscape architecture can be a kind of alchemy to re-establish our unity with the land. This is a context in which the individual can interact with the earth, wind, and water.
We create this experience of place on both the public domain and the realm of the private garden. The result is a sustainable architecture with a sense of history and environmental process that is rich in symbolic and metaphysical associations.
Our interest is to collaborate with architects, integrating their design concepts as extensions to the landscape. The studio offers a full scope of services, from site analysis and feasibility studies, through site selection, program development, design and construction.
